John “Drew” Petrushka, Government and Industry Relations Manager

John “Drew” Petrushka currently serves as Government and Industry Relations Manager of USMI. USMI is the nation’s leading private mortgage insurance association, comprised of five of the six U.S. mortgage insurance companies in the country.

Drew previously worked at the Washington Institute for Business, Government, and Society, where he supported research and advocacy efforts in partnership with technology companies and economic policy associations. Earlier, he tracked legislative and regulatory developments in Asia as a member of North Head Consultancy’s public affairs team in Beijing, and worked as an analyst for the Korea Risk Group.

Drew holds an MBA and an MA from Georgetown University as well as a BA from George Washington University.
